Hi, I’m Gemma — the face behind The Irish Gem.

I’m an Irish girl who, after moving away from home, found my love for Ireland grow even stronger. Being away didn’t lessen that connection — it reignited it. What started as sharing a few videos online quickly became a mission: to celebrate Irish culture, heritage, humour and travel with people all over the world.

You might know me from social media as IrishGem. The name was simple — I’m Gemma, I’m Irish… and IrishGemma was already taken. So here we are.

Through my content, I share everything from Irish history and traditions to travel tips, hidden gems and the little cultural quirks that make us who we are. One of my favourite series is The Irish Pub Hub, where I visit and review Irish pubs outside of Ireland — because no matter where you are in the world, there’s usually a little piece of home nearby.

My Irish Gem Travel Guides were created to help people experience Ireland properly — not just the tourist highlights, but the real magic. They’re designed to put the best of Ireland right in your pocket.
